CHEMICAL RECYCLING
Chemical recycling is the production of a chemical reaction to treat the waste. It is a destructuration of polymers which will become again monomers.
Thanks to chemical recycling (depolymerization) it is possible to treat materials that could not be recycled mechanically and to capture a deposit that was previously buried or incinerated.
Example: opaque bottles or jars, PETG bottles...
ADVANTAGE : The material obtained has properties identical to those of virgin materials and is food grade.
THE MASS BALANCE
The mass balance is a system of allocation of certified sustainable material (biosourced or recycled) in the manner of green energy.
We decide to certify "sustainable by mass balance allocation" a part of the produced material.
The mass balance makes it possible to trace the quantity and the characteristics of durability of the recycled materials introduced into the chain of value in complement of the fossil resources.
Principle :
For each ton of recycled raw material introduced, replacing a raw material of fossil origin, one ton of production can be classified as circular.
