EMBELIA and KALYSSA are joining forces to accelerate their development

On November 1st, SGD Pharma welcomed the Alphial teams into the group.
Alphial is a leading player in the production of tubular glass bottles and ampoules, as well as ready-to-use solutions, with its headquarters based in Italy.

Since 2023, Alphial has also developed a distribution activity under the Kalyssa brand, mainly active in Italy, marketing both Alphial products and complementary ranges, all dedicated to the cosmetics and personal care markets.

Today, SGD Pharma marks a new milestone: the Kalyssa activity will gradually be integrated into Embelia, the group’s distribution subsidiary (€40Mturnover).
Embelia offres a wide range of primary packaging solutions – including bottles, jars and closure systems – for the perfumery, cosmetics, dietary supplements, pharmaceutical and personal care markets.

This integration opens the door to numerous synergies:
• Geographical synergies: an expanded presence across complementary European markets.
• Operational synergies: strengthened coordination across purchasing, logistics and marketing teams.
• Convergence of expertise: pooling of know-how in primary packaging, innovation and customer support.
• Shared motivation and vision: the Kalyssa and Embelia teams share a strong desire to combine their strengths and build a collective dynamic to deliver a more relevant and high-performing offer.

Thanks to these levers, Embelia and Kalyssa will be able to further accelerate their development in the markets where both brands are already established.

This step represents an important strategic evolution for Embelia and Kalyssa, strengthening their ability to offer an increasingly comprehensive, innovative, and coherent range of solutions to their customers.
